The "Memory" feature, as known from your pocket calculator, has been activated in fiberdesk 3. Originally a feature of the upcoming version 4, this is available to all customers now. The field that is transfered to this memory is displayed as a bright red temporal field only (see below) and is scaled in intensity to fit. You can add fields or just compare different propagation. Take care if the array size is changed.

Fiberdesk's new version will be launched in januar 2011.
This is delayed compared to the original plan, but the features and options have been strongly increased. Here is just a quick look at counter of lines of code including comments but not blank lines.

rectangular pulse bug removed

This bug appeared due to some numerical artefact in the time shifting routine, if the phase phi of a complex number is changed by evaluating its current phase, adding the new phase and representing it as real=r*cos(phi) and im=r*sin(phi). Now the more logical complex multiplication is used here.
